Its always a Good Friday at the Porterhouse 

As you celebrate the centenary of The Rising and the birth of our nation where better to begin your Easter on a historic Good Friday than right at the centre of the action at Porterhouse Central and Temple Bar.

Food served all day at Porterhouse Central and Temple Bar, enjoy a great start to a once in a lifetime Easter celebration with fabulous food. How about trying some of the world famous Porterhouse Wings? Then maybe enjoy something from our dessert range and finish it off with one of our excellent range of coffees. The Lunch and Evening menus have plenty of choice from fish to homemade burgers and pies and let's not forget Dublin’s favourite pizza via a variety of vegetarian options to appeal to all tastes. There’s also lots of tasty nibbles if it’s just a light bite snack you are after. Then finish off a beautiful day by cheering on the Boys In Green on the big screens as Ireland face their old foes Switzerland as both prepare for this summer’s Euro 2016 Finals in France in the first warm-up match. Porterhouse Central on Nassau Street and Porterhouse Temple Bar open from 12 noon this Good Friday.

As part of the mandatory ticket guidelines imposed by the Government, all of our customers are obliged to have an entry ticket after 11pm.

Whether you are drinking one of the Porterhouse Dublin's award-winning hand-crafted beers or having a warming spirit Porterhouse Central is a place where every time you take a sip you are imbibing the whispers of history. Located on Nassau Street at the bottom of Grafton Street with access off Adams Court. Porterhouse Central houses possibly the longest bar in Dublin. There is history all around you. The bar was once the favored drinking spot for the infamous Cairo Squad, who were wiped out by Michael Collins. The stories this place could tell about the conversations had and the songs sung within the walls of Porterhouse Dublin. Porterhouse Central is also a great venue for live music and craic throughout the day and into the wee small hours. An extensive bar menu will satisfy any hunger pangs you might have and it's also a hotspot for a great night out in one of Europe’s finest party cities.
